ffmpeg in Intle and PPC Mac

I was just testing out ffmpeg on a off the cuff test but is was very interesting to see the results.

Input settings of the avi file:
Duration: 00:01:51.0, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 1844 kb/s
Stream #0.0, 25.00 fps(r): Video: msmpeg4v1, yuv420p, 640x480
Stream #0.1: Audio: pcm_s16le, 22050 Hz, stereo, 705 kb/s

Output file is a mpeg-4 with these settings:
Stream #0.0, 25.00 fps(c): Video: mpeg4, yuv420p, 640x480, q=2-31, 650 kb/s
Stream #0.1: Audio: aac, 22050 Hz, stereo, 64 kb/s


So here are the results with the PPC compiled binary of ffmpeg /images/emoticons/happy.gif

MacBook Pro - 2Ghz - 2GB Ram
Time: 1m33.746s

Power Book - 1.5 Ghz -1GB RAM
Time: 1m30s

Now with the Universal compiled binary of ffmpeg !!

MacBook Pro - 2Ghz - 2GB Ram
Time: 0m17.841s
